Some background infomation on The Pearl
The pearl is the perfect projectile for a non-violent war. Its soft and squishy. Doesnt hurt the victim but rather it sticks on him showing that he was a loser who got shot.
Now being particular about hygiene, i've nv really shot anybody. But the thought crosses my mind everytime i'm holding the drink in my hand. Now finally, its like a dream come true, finally a target is provided - PEARL GAME!!

Its not as fun and competitive as its a pretty one-sided game. But from hearing the 'poooop' sound when the pearl leaves the straw, to seeing it glide through the air and finally landing on your target, there's no greater satisfaction.
Woah shag. Seniors' camp jus ended this morning.
Went down on friday after Star Wars to Goldkist chalet at ECP. At 200 bucks per nite for 1 unit, its seriously not worth the morning. Seemed like a dead town on friday when the proggies went down to prep the stuff for camp. The place came alive on saturday though. Seems like the whole world was celebrating their birthday there. Tied water bombs till my hands were blistered. Wrong technique. Must correct during actual camp. Slpt on the beach with Say Chong that nite. Seems like i was in a cold war i didnt know abt too. Wth. Childish. Hahahhhaha.
Main comm arrived on saturday morning and we tried 100 秒不NG. Hahahhaha.. Damn funny. Guess when you're with the CGLs u're bound to be high. Noisest 8 people in hall really. Crazy ppl. Hahahha.. Great fun.
Field/War games was quite diasterous i would say. Prep time was too long becos of the rain. We were behind schedule by 2 hours? But everybody still made it in time for fright nite which started at about 10 i suppose. Was really shag by then so the ghost must have felt terrible. How come the ghost all slacking when it was my turn to walk? Beertini sitting down, zheelong stand in the corner dunno do wat!? Hahahhaha.. Alvin gave me a shock though. Can be improved.
Think proggies really got to allocate manpower well so that those who are doing nothing can take turns to slp. I suppose u don't really need all 16 proggies all the time so taking turns would ease the sleep debt that everybody was having. 6 day camp is gonna be shag. U can tell by the way i'm blogging. Speaking quite incoherently.
And it ended with beach games and night games this morn. Morning taupok session for everybody during the sandwich game. Break camp! Thanks max for sending us back.

Wow.. Been awhile since i blogged. Someone says it has been 6 months. A lot has happened in the past 6 months. I've already been with sc for 6 months. I think there's a relationship b/w gfs and blogging for me. This blog started with becos i broke up. It got stagnant when i got tgt with sc. Hmmm..
So lets summarise the past 6 months.
1. Got 3 A- last sem. But with just 1 B-, my GPA's down to 4.08. Just slightly worse than last sem. But still its above 4. Work harder next sem i guess.
2. Went to Medan with delphus at the end of May.
3. Spent most of my holidays going out. Until last week, i have been out almost everyday since the holidays started. Thanks to my many meetings, trainings, recces, competitions, work, cheers, holidays, badminton, mahjongs. WOW. This is the one holiday that i have nt felt bored.
4. But i'm bored. That's why i'm blogging. I fell sick last wed. 1 of the more serious illnesses that the strong me has encounted in my lifetime. The fever lasted for 4 days(my fever usually lasts a day...). On Friday, it hit a record 39.5ºC. So i had to listen to my gf and go to the doctor on saturday. And monday i was well. Thanks for taking care of me the 2 days dear.
5. Watched TRANSFORMERS 2 on friday b4 i fell sick. So it might be lacking a little substance where the storyline is concerned, but the robots, the effects, the sound and explosion and the stuff blowing up and your mind blowing away... 2 SOLID hours of that guys. So all u action junkies out there, this is definitely the show for u.
6. Watched Marley and Me over the wkend while resting. Now on a lighter note, there's no stuff blowing up, just 2 people and man's best fren trying to live their lives together. Its real and heartwarming and the dog's so funny i watched it a few times.
So just 1 more month to FOC and the start of Year 2 Sem 2. A freshie no more. Its our turn to laugh at those holding maps of NTU. Can't wait.

Yea the one week break is finally here. Most ppl are complaining that shldnt even be considered a break with all the work to be done and all the upcoming quizzes to study for. I'm jus thankful for this one week to complete my work at a relaxing pace. Hope i have the time and discipline to actually do some work though. There's something lined up everyday till thurs.
Even though life is now more hectic than it has ever been, I'm kind of happy with it. The 8 months b4 sch started was slack. There was a constant need to look for activities to prevent spiders from spinning cobwebs on me. Now, there's always some activity going on. Trainings, supper, mahjong, and of cos furiously trying to decrease that huge pile of work on the table.
Life is great. School life is awesome. And its probably the last phase in your life where every sort of activity imaginable is avaliable to you so readily and at subsidied prices. Its the last place to find people who are willing to train hard wif u for competitions like IVP or IHG becos lets face it, we're all gonna become very lazy RT Men after we head out to the working world. So for now, train hard, sign up for everything, learn stuff i've never learnt b4 and study like i never did b4. Wat a fulfiling life. I'm not gonna end up an RT man
Oh well.. Din manage to win KC. But its ok.. I gt 80 bucks and a racket worth 150 bucks. WOOOOO!!! Feels gd to win something.
Programming is like joining a competition. The feeling u get when u manage to get the program out feels jus like winning a 150 dollar racket. Conversely, not being able to write the program is jus like getting kicked out in the 2nd round of the open category cos u dun even get to play in plate anymore.
